our new website, lyalax.com, includes three levels of password protection. the first, public access, offers pages open to the general public, these pages have no personal information about the kids and their families. members of lyalax.com will enjoy further features including printable player cards, game summaries, rosters, and other pages that may have some level of personalization.

parents, players and relatives that you wish to add may be given passwords to access the member pages of the site. to set up such a password, go to the site and click the link at the top to "sign up", fill out the short form and submit it. once your credentials have been verified, a password will be sent to you via email.

please take some time to visit the site, browse around and provide any comments and/or feedback. i looked around at several lacrosse team sites, and tried to include their best features. i'm sure there are things i missed so please let me know if there is anything you would like to see added, i can't promise anything but we'll see what we can do.

an individual (team parent, coach, manager, etc.) who has been granted administrator status will have a third level of the site available to them. these individuals will be able to provide, edit, and update content on the site, making lyalax.com the most up to the minute way to keep up with the club.

lax flash -- located conveniently on the homepage, these are short notices that you will want to check often. schedule changes, updates and cancellations will be highlighted here. look here first if the weather is questionable.

photo gallery -- the photo gallery is a place where we can post pictures of our teams, players and families. the gallery is for members only but the pictures may be used as part of the news stories. if any of you have digital cameras, please feel free to post your images for the rest of the club. the gallery includes a search function so please include dates, team names, player names, and other information in the title and description of the picture and we will be able to better find them in the future.

calendars and schedules -- calendars include all of the events for each team including practices, games, meetings, and any other events you may have lined up. the schedules include just games, giving either the times of upcoming games or results of completed games. content for these pages will be posted to the site by those with administrator privileges.

laxlinx -- the laxlinx page is available to all visitors of the site but only members may post links to the site. if you have a favorite lacrosse site for news, instruction, features, scores, etc. please share it with the rest of us.

rosters -- each team's roster will be posted on the site for the use of our members only. from the roster page you will be able to click to see each players "card", a printable "playing card" with information and a photo of the player.

team home pages -- each team has it's own home page that links directly to it's own schedule, calendar, and roster. it also will include team specific content that will be maintained by the team administrator. you can jump to your team's page by selecting it from the drop down box at the top of the site.
