why athletics?
as with all athletics, the lessons learned on the lacrosse field will follow these young men as they grow, from the classroom, to the boardroom, and into the familyroom. lionville youth lacrosse is poised to help guide the students as they become young adults, giving them a strong mental and physical structure for which to tackle adulthood.

initially, our goal, our dream, as an organization, is to teach the players to enjoy the game of lacrosse as much as we do, in the hopes that they will do the same for the next generation.

why lacrosse?
lacrosse may just be the perfect game, at least those of us lucky enough to have been exposed to it in our youth believe it to be. it has been played for hundreds of years soley for the love of the game and it is being played increasingly at every level for just that reason, not for the fame and fortune usually associated with becoming an athlete.

by combining the best elements of today's more popular "major" sports, lacrosse offers players and spectators a unique blend of quickness, strength, endurance and scoring. lacrosse embodies the teamwork and playmaking of basketball, the power and excitement of football, the speed and finesse of ice hockey, and the hand-eye coordination of baseball.
